Stone house on the rock
Description
An old house on the rock with a view of the plain, abandoned since World War II, that had been used as a stall. With good will and skilled master builders, who knew how to build in the traditional way, the house was rebuilt using stone and wood. The space The furniture, in the majority handmade, are wooden and are in harmony with the rest of the house. The walls are decorated with paintings, which I have been collecting the last 30 years. In the house there is a pellet stove, which produces heat and creates a pleasant, warm atmosphere. What I enjoy when I stay myself in the house, is seating in the living room, with the bright sun light coming in from the many windows, the stove on and the view of the plain. Guest access To arrive to the house, one should walk on an uphill path and go up several steps. Cars can be parked on the street before the path. The whole house is in the disposal of visitors. It contains 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with a sofa bed. For producing heat in winter and coolness in summer, there exists an air-condition. Other things to note For hosting more people, contact us before booking so that we can arrange to have access to the first floor of the building, where there is an extra living room with fire place, an extra room with double bed and one more bathroom.
