Traditional wooden chalet in the mountains with magnificent views ideal for couples looking for a quiet break close to nature. Marked hiking trails are on offer from the door. The ground floor has a light kitchen-dining area which leads directly to the south facing terrace with outdoor seating to contemplate the beauty and silence of the mountains. The chalet is equipped with underfloor heating, fibre optic WIFI, a WC, shower and stairs leading to a double bedroom. Private parking space. The space The wood decor and setting give an authentic mountain chalet experience and while the space is compact, the south facing windows give the interior a light, open feeling with a sense of indoor-outdoor living. Outdoor sofas & picnic table are the ideal spot to take in the views and enjoy the calm from the sunny terrace. Guest access Snow tyres are a legal requirement in Haute Savoie from November to March. In winter the 3km road leading up to the chalet is regularly cleared during snowfall but can be difficult in places. Snow chains are strongly recommended even if you have snow tyres. The ‘Cosy’ is an independent chalet with private parking situated next to the main house where the owners live. Other things to note A car is highly recommended, however if you plan to get around using public transport there are bus services on the main road in the valley 3km away. It’s an easy walk down hill, but steep walking back up. In winter snow tyres or snow chains are a legal requirement to access by car
