Simple, cozy and characteristic bedroom in a 4-bedroom apartment located in the iconic and historical neighbourhood of Bica with the most amazing view. This is an historical apartment in a medieval building (pre-existent before the earthquake of 1755 and rebuilt after). Perfect if you really want to live the genuine Portuguese experience of life. The apartment has good common areas, and the living room also has the most gorgeous view over the city and the river Tagus . The space * The room has a queen sized bed, a drawer, a desk and a big window with a lot of light. The window faces the city and river. * This is a typical Portuguese Bica's apartment. It's an historical apartment rebuilt in Pombaline style building (from the XVIII century) after the earthquake and located on the second or third floor. The building is on a very nice quiet dead end street during all year that turns out to be vibrant and festive during the summer. Perfect spot for the city festivals; * You will feel a very familiar, safe and good environment here where the neighbours are very friendly and helpful. The big plus of this location is that is right in the historical centre and walking distance from the most crowded and busy areas in Lisbon but it is a calm and perfect place for rest itself. So it can be a kind of oasis in the middle all the main city events; * Please don't forget that you are renting a room in a shared apartment with more 3 bedrooms. The bathroom is also shared; * As it happens in all buildings in this old neighbourhood and in historical Lisbon in general, the building doesn't have an elevator since is has almost 300 years old and the stairs can be a little steep in some floors, since its the 3rd floor and it can be a big effort for some people but it is fully compensated when you see the stunning view from your room across the city and the river; * One living and one dining room; * Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom; * A concerned and caring host and team that will make everything to make your stay the most perfect possible. * We have the exact same bedroom in the 2nd and 3rd floor of the apartment so you will stay in the one that is available. Since its in the same building, the experience is very similar; Guest access * Strong Wi Fi connection, bed linen, bathing towels, cleaning service and the privilege to live in a beautiful Portuguese historical house you can stay in the second or in the third floor it depends on the disponability at the moment. Feel also free to use the kitchen to prepare some meals; During your stay * Me or one of my co-hosts are always available for any question, suggestions or help in anything you need. Other things to note * Check-in time is from 3 pm to 8 pm and check-out time is until 10 am. Of course that we facilitate early entrances or late check-outs of our guests whenever possible (there is a value of € 25 for early check-ins before 3 pm or late night check-ins after 8 pm and a value of € 40 for early morning check-ins before 8 am and late night check-ins post 11 pm. * The washing machine is for use of the house residents and staff only. There are laundry places nearby.
