Carsaig Cave at Cuan is set on the shores of Cuan Sound, it is the ideal location for kayakers, walkers and those wishing to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Carsaig Cave, along with Cuan Cave, Alexandra Lifeboat, Mary Heather Lifeboat, Cuan Bunkroom and small campground are part of the facilities we provide here on Argyll's rugged coastline. The space Carsaig cave gives you the unique opportunity to stay in a cave, set under the ground at the edge of the campground, with all facilities to hand. Formed into the curved shapes are a double berth sleeping area and a double bunk that can be changed to a settee with table in the entrance/ activity area, all with views down the bay to the sea, or the stars at night through the roof lights. We do not provide any linen, and due to the current circumstances, we encourage guests to provide their own. However, if requested we can provide a pillow, sleeping bag with liner and a towel for £7/person for 2 nights. The galley kitchen has breakfast bar with stools, plenty storage space with cooking and eating utensils. There is a fridge, double hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and George Foreman grill, (or equivalent ). Set in the back of the cave, accessed through a sliding door is a quadrant corner shower, wash basin and W.C with the luxury of underfloor heating. There is also an outdoor seating area with fire pit and wood available. Other things to note Hopefully from the site photos and information you realise that we do not provide linen or towels, considering the current situation we would encourage you to bring your own , however we can supply a sleeping bag with liner, pillow and a towel for an additional charge of £7/p for two nights if requested.
