Family & Friends Group Adventures

A large country estate has been divided into 5 separate cottages, fully independent with there own style and character. They are surrounded by a large wooded garden in the hills of Mid Wales. Perfect for adventure groups, wedding receptions, meditation groups or just holidays for large family and friends groups wanting their own space and be close together. There are steps throughout and in some cases fittings will be dated, to keep in character with the 19 century cottages The space Relax in the peace and tranquility that Wales has to offer in a country garden. With many places to visit locally, there is something for everyone with adventure around every corner. 5 cottages grouped together, unique in character and style, from a 300-year-old Farmhouse to Art Deco, there is something for every family all located in the heart of a woodland garden on the banks of the Dyfi Valley. The cottages sleep 19 guests, or 5 families comfortable in their own self-contained cottages. Perfect for families who want their own space but also want to be on holiday together. You can book a combination of cottages together for different groups sizes of 7, 9, 11, or 12, 14, and 19. The Pool, Grove, and Farmhouse sleep 4 guests each in one double and one twin room, The Hall sleeps 5 in one double, one twin, and one single room and The Gallery sleeps 2 in one double. Please let us know which cottages you would like for your group and we will let you know which are available. Groups less than 19 normally prefer to book all the cottages. All cottages have wood-burning stoves which should be lit for your comfort throughout the season if necessary. ( wood is supplied in the large stone barn behind the cottages) Please make yourself aware of the requirements for their operation. Electric heating is also supplied for additional comfort but Pool and Gallery cottages will require log burners for heating in colder weather. For wheelchair access, one or two steps into all the cottages are manageable, but Pool, Gallery, and Hall have bathrooms downstairs. (all bedrooms are upstairs). Important: if you need less than 5 cottages, they can be booked separately through Airbnb. We are unable to send a quote. Thank you. Guest access For your arrive, we place the key in the door at the moment. On normal occasions the Keys for your cottages would be located on site in 5 lockboxes. All guests will have access to the 5 acre garden and 600 yard private road and dingle above the garden. There is a washing facility in the studio with washer/dryer behind the stone barn. If required please message me and I can forward the access code. For wheelchair access, there are one or two steps into all the cottages which are manageable, but Pool , Gallery and Hall have bathrooms downstairs. A pull out bed can be provided for sleeping arrangements downstairs. (all bedrooms are upstairs) I am at the end of an email for any queries and the site manager will be available in the morning and evenings. Unfortunately I will be unable to meet you but you will have access any time after 4pm. If you are running very late, don’t worry the key will be there for you to pick from the lockbox on site. I will email the access code for the lockbox approximately one week before the start of your holiday. Daniel Other things to note King Arthur's Labyrinth is a great place for the whole family to explore the history of wales and the mines of Corris. It also has a small craft village for local shopping. The Devil's Bridge is a nice place to spend the day and the university town of Aberystwyth is 22 miles away on the welsh coast for lots of good shops and eateries. Snowdon boasts some of the best views in Britain, and the summit can be reached by a number of well-known paths. The summit can also be reached on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, a rack and pinion railway opened in 1896 which carries passengers the 4.7 miles (7.6 km) from Llanberis to the summit station. The summit also houses a visitor centre called Hafod Eryri, built in 2006 to replace one built in the 1930s.
