Description
Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car The space There are four bedrooms, one en-suite, living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and walk in shower room. Outside there is a cobblestone yard leading to a large conservatory. Steps head down to a sheltered patio area. There is shared off road parking and the area is fenced off to prevent large dogs or children straying onto the road. All gates are kept closed as there are animals on the property Guest access The guests have use of the house , conservatory and patio area. Occasionally I will need access to the garage and my car through the yard otherwise this space is for the guests to enjoy Other things to note The gates need to closed at all times as there are dogs, sheep and horses on the property Please note that alterations requested within 7 days of check in will be automatically declined. Please check your dates before you book. I cannot control the weather or the change in your circumstances. I do my best to accommodate people’s wishes but this is a business at the end of the day
