Description

My place is a couple of minutes walk to London Road station (convenient for universities), or about 20 minutes walk from the centre. The room is in a house on a quiet residential road. There are also buses nearby to near the sea front. It may also be available for longer term lets, please contact if interested. The space The room is in the loft, so the ceiling is not very high and sloping. It's most comfortable for people less than 6ft (1.80m). There are drawers and shelves but no wardrobe, however things can be hung on the back of the door, and usually a wardrobe downstairs can usually be used if needed. There is a good mattress on the bed, but other furnishing is basic (during the academic year the room is usually let to a postgrad student) - do not expect smart hotel standards. Having said that, people usually like it! Guest access You can use the kitchen for light cooking, sit in the back garden and use the washing machine/dryer. During your stay I may or may not be around. Other things to note If you could water the hanging baskets/tubs and garden if it is hot and I'm away that would be great.
