Villa Ananya is a perfect getaway from the busy city life. Tucked away in a town 10 Km away from Colombo and will take about 40 minutes on a busy day. Villa Ananya is a 3 room bunglow with a pool overlooking the scenic bolgoda lake. The surroundings are calm and serene with a variety of birds. The sunrise and the sunset is breathtaking. The lake is inhabited by the local fisherman for their daily catch. The breakfast is provided free by the villa. Kayaking and tours can be arranged on request The villa consists of 3 double A/C rooms with attached bathrooms. Rates vary depending on how many rooms are booked. Once a room is booked by a guest, we will not take any other bookings to the villa. This will give the guests total privacy of using the villa. However the guests can ONLY use the room/s booked . The other rooms will NOT be AVAILABLE for their use. 1 double room - $60 per night 2 double rooms - $120 per night 3 doube rooms - $ 180 per night An additional guest will be charged at $30 per room. (eg ; 3 guests - 1 double + additional guest). However if the guests does not like to share rooms they will have to book additional rooms or talk to the host. Breakfast is provided free of charge. Lunch and Dinner can be provided for a additional charge. There is a spacious living and dining room with a TV and a DVD player. A live in caretaker and a cook is available. Please contact me for further information about the pricing . Guests will have access to the entire villa including a spacious garden and a private pool. However, as we charge per room basis we only prepare the room/s the guests chooses to stay and the other rooms will be not be accessible. During your stay you will be looked after by a live-in caretaker "fareeda" and a cook "sumathi". If you have any problems in communicating with them please contact me. It a peaceful secure place with lots of trees and a variety of birds. The sunrise and the sunset over the lake is breathtaking. Full moon nights on the lake edge can belovely to spend some quality time. The house is near a lake and is about a km from the main road. Can walk , hire a tuk or a cab to get there. A scooter is also available for hire by the caretaker . The panadura beach is about 3 km from the villa. The Mount Lavinia beach is much better and is situated about 5 km away. The benthota and hikkaduwa beach resorts are about a hours journey on a tuk or a scooter. A day trip to the famous Galle heritage city should also be done to complete your stay at the villa. When hiring a Tuk( three wheel cab) get a tuk with a meter or confirm the price before starting the journey. Price per km is around LKR 80 to 100 Reputed cab companies Kangaroo cabs, ABANS cabs ,Uber , pickme will operate etc. Approx price from the air port to the villa is about USD 50.
