The Sources
The Sources
Description
Located at the end of a traditional southern French stone farmhouse, and not overlooked, this country house offers you a panoramic view of the meadows surrounding the estate. You will be charmed by the calm and serenity of this truly exceptional place. Disconnect to reconnect with yourself. The space This charming, typically local house takes you back in time with its authenticity, while offering all the comforts of a modern home. The house includes a private garden, a private swimming pool, a pétanque court, and a covered area adjacent to the house where you can spend your days and evenings sheltered from the wind. Enjoy a sunset by the pool, with the delicious smell of the barbecue, perhaps interrupted by the clattering of pétanque balls. In front of the house, there is private parking where you can park two vehicles and plug in to an electric charging station. You can also take the small walking paths to reach the stone fountain, one of the estate's main features. Guest access La Maison des Sources is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers, a verdant triangle nestled between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Here, hills and rivers coexist with oak forests and vineyards, fertile lands since the dawn of time with an equally diverse cultural heritage. A favorite destination, this region offers it all: breathtaking scenery thanks to its beautiful natural environment, and a land steeped in history to explore by car or bike. We are 30 minutes from Saint-Émilion to the north, 30 minutes from Sauternes to the south, and 1 hour from Bordeaux. Other things to note Sheets, bath towels, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, etc. are provided upon arrival. Linen management is included in the cleaning fee. The pool is heated. The house is connected to the internet by fiber optic (very high speed). IMPORTANT NOTE: I live with my small family in the house next door, which is part of this little hamlet of three houses.
