The apartment is located in Matosinhos city centre, next to Porto city, 5 min walking to the beach where you can enjoy sunbathing, surfing and great restaurants nearby, serving portuguese specialities like delicious local fresh fish cooked in many ways. You can go to Porto by metro, bus or bike. You can take this beautiful bus journey along the sea and Douro riverside until you reach Ribeira - Porto old town UNESCO Heritage. Near the apartment you will find many supermarkets and a traditional local market where you can buy fresh food to cook at home which has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining room. You can also find many restful green parks where you can walk or jog and admire the beautiful landscape with energizing sunshines and ocean horizons. If you don't mind the less warmth of the sea water, you can swim in a refreshing blue wild ocean. There are also children playgrounds, cafés and a good library very near. Porto centre is easily reachable within half an hour. In the apartment you have a spacious bedroom with a window and a balcony, a king size bed with a super quality mattress and plenty of wardrobes. A small futon can be provided for a child. Bed sheets, duvet, blankets and towels are provided. You will have exclusive access to two bathrooms, a full equipped kitchen and a spacious dinning/sitting room. The apartment is located in a first floor with elevator. If you bring a surfboard, a safe place to keep it for free will be provided. You can enjoy a warm shower anytime and use wireless internet for free. Other things to note City Tax (CT): Payment of CT in the amount of 2 Eur/night/guest up to a maximum of 7 nights is due. In case it has not been charged at the time of the reservation, the payment will be made in cash at check-in (please bring the right amount). RESERVATION HOUSE RULES -Property should be left IN THE SAME CONDITION as it was found during check-in, with all its furniture, facilities, equipment and structure in perfect state and fairly tidy up and CLEAN (except for small traces of normal use). Used kitchenware should be PERFECTLY WASHED. - Parties and other meetings/events/dinners with external people are NOT ALLOWED - Smoking is allowed in the balcony ONLY. - NO NOISE after 10 pm. It is an apartment building where locals live. Please respect the neighbours and they will respect you. - We welcome well behaved cats and dogs, upon request ONLY. The default reservation and the price announced are for 1 or 2 guests. Any extra guest, including child or animal, is accepted upon request ONLY and may be subject to a fee. - ALL the guests that will use the house should be present during the check-in time and must show their passport or national identity card. - Room heating is provided in the bedroom and bathroom only. An extra electric heater will be provided for the living room. - Guests are expected to sleep on the existing queen bed (1,60m wide). If you need us to prepare the sofa-bed for ONE person, let us know (extra fee is 15 Eur). Be aware that sofa is not as comfortable, specially for a larger or taller person. - It is NOT ALLOWED to hang objects as wet towels or bath suits in the balconies railings. - NO external people should use the facilities of the apartment.
