Book this space when you need a working, fully furnished home away from home while in Melbourne. The space This is a one bedroom apartment with upstairs and downstairs. It has a small 2nd bedroom, balcony conversion, accessed from the main bedroom. It works well for couples and small families. Queen size bed and ikea single bed. For twin share one will get a big bed, the other a small single bed. The apartment is on the ground floor with a private courtyard opening onto a communal garden. Living areas are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs. Partition the main bedroom off for a second bedroom. There is a glass wall with a heavy curtain. You can have a little kid in here and close the door but have the curtains open a little if they're worried. The kitchen is fully functional with useful equipment for cooks and bakers. Gas cook top and electric oven. Includes rice cooker, lots of basic ingredients and spices. There is always something there to eat if you arrive in the middle of the night. You'll enjoy a great open feel in this mid-century modern apartment with a highly patterned designer fit out. There is a TV, with free-to -air channels and computer monitor with an hdmi or VGA cable to plug into your laptop. Big Plane trees are typical of the neighbourhood. Some people are allergic to these. It is not fully gated, but there are some locked gates on Haines Street. It is accessible via Plane Tree Way which is off Abbotsford Street. You access the apartment through the main garden, then go into your private courtyard Other things to note There is an underground carpark. Swipe the token on the key ring to open the gates.
