Peaceful 3BR jungle retreat Villa in Sayan!

In the heart of the jungle in Sayan, this is a beautiful, modern, light and spacious 3-bed villa with charming decor in Ubud. The villa is airy and light, with high ceilings and beautiful carved wood detailing, with a lovely private garden and L-shaped pool to relax by. A 10-minute drive from Ubud centre yet in a peaceful local neighbourhood set away from the main roads. Make Villa Madu your home away from home in cultural Ubud! The space Villa Madu is a spacious, airy and creatively decorated villa in the peaceful village of Sayan in popular Ubud - set aside quietly down a small gang (alley) off the main road into Ubud centre. The villa is approximately a 10-15 minute drive into the centre. The space consists of a large living room and dining area with very high ceilings and pitched roof, filled with comfortable furnishings and plenty of space to relax and read, talk and sit. There is a large wood dining table which seats 8-10 people. The living room area opens out onto a beautiful veranda looking out into the jungle, with an antique Balinese daybed and swing chairs, hammocks and swings to play. It's a very cool space in the heat of the day but keeps warm in the less clement off-season weather. There are three roomy bedrooms including a Master with en-suite bathroom, huge stone bath, beautiful shower with carved doors, local patterned tiling and plenty of space. The other two bedrooms share a separate bathroom. The three bedrooms all open out via glass doors onto the pool area and garden, with reclaimed Bornean hardwood deck and Javanese lawn, hammock and loungers to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Guest access Guests have sole access to the villa and gardens. There is a small alleyway which is accessible for scooters and on foot from the main road, but not accessible for cars. Cars can drop off and pick up guests on the main road and the walk is approximately 3 minutes or 1 minute on the scooter to the front door of the villa. Please note we do not have car parking for cars, only scooters and motorbikes who can ride all the way to the front door. There is a private garden with L-shaped pool and reclaimed Bornean hardwood deck for sole use of the guests. Other things to note We can provide breakfast but we do require notice so please do ask on booking if you would like this service. It is charged in cash during your stay and is on a per head/per day basis. We do Indonesian, American/English and Continental breakfast styles chargeable at very reasonable rates.
