Description
Antica Dimora is an ancient noble house built in the late nineteenth century that recalls the Salento architectural styles of the time. The property has always remained in the hands of the same family that from generation to generation has perfectly preserved it, expertly restored and modernized in full respect of history. The residence is located 100 meters above sea level, in the municipality of Ortelle, a small town of 2,000 inhabitants in the lower southeastern Salento, in the hinterland of Castro The space The apartment is located on the first floor, which is accessed through an ornamental staircase adorned with a very special and uncommon plant, the Aristolochia Gigantea, often photographed by passers-by for its large heart-shaped leaves. The property includes a large 25-square-meter room, two double bedrooms, a full kitchen, a bathroom, laundry room, plus outdoor spaces. The beds are both double with dimensions 160 x 200 cm. In addition, in the living room there is a sofa bed that can become a double bed if necessary, for guests or for children/teenagers. Note for guests with reduced mobility: there are stairs and steps in the property that can be difficult for those who have problems walking (architectural barriers that cannot be eliminated). Guest access The entire house is spread across various levels. Guests will have access to the first floor and upper levels. The ground floor is a garage and is not inhabited. Therefore, guest access is absolutely private and they will not have to share the property with anyone.
