Vine Cottage is part of a 18th Century longhouse that has been lovingly restored. With vaulted ceiling and Breton fireplace you will feel "at home" the moment you walk in. Built in the early 1700's, it sits in the heart of Southern Brittany's most beautiful countryside. Sitting in an ancient stone hamlet on the edge of a forest it forms part of a conservation area, of which the tranquility has hardly changed since Louis XIV's reign. The space The lounge area is furnished with a leather sofa and loads of comfy cushions. There is a TV . The TV shows English and French channels. The fully fitted kitchen comes equipped with all your needs to produce and serve locally purchased French cuisine. We provide a generous welcome pack and also Fair Trade coffee and tea to start you off. The comfortable king size bed comes with quality bed linen for a good nights rest. The en-suite rainforest shower wakes you up ready for an amazing day and you can luxuriate in our cosy robes, fluffy towels and enjoy our Body Shop products. For those who need to keep in touch free WiFi is available. Guest access You have exclusive use of the cottage and the garden is available for you to enjoy and has ample seating, loungers, dining area and little corners where you can sit and read or enjoy a glass of wine. We have a wood fired hot tub which you can use and it is an amazing experience to relax under the stars in our candle-lit tub area. Please be aware that the use of the hot tub is by prior arrangement due to scheduling its emptying, cleaning, refilling and reheating between users. There is a charcoal barbecue for your use. We have on site parking. Other things to note We are happy to offer accompanied walks, support cycle tours and mountain biking and provide ideas for trail runs. We can provide suggestions of routes to suit all levels of experience. We are happy to provide bikes and helmets but if you bring your own we provide secure bike storage. The TV channels are in English and French.
