Character Cottage West Dorset

Detached character cottage ( 18th century ) in a beautiful location six miles from the Jurassic coast. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, there are spectacular views from the large garden across West Dorset. A thatched pub is in the pretty village. The Cottage is in a quiet location accessed by a sloping path or a flight of steps. It has a large living room with open fire and a kitchen diner. There are three bedrooms which can sleep up to 5 guests, a bathroom and a separate shower room. The space The cottage is very old so rustic in appearance. It is on the edge of the village in an elevated position accessed via a path and steps.. It has a large reception room and a separate kitchen diner. Up some narrow stairs there is a landing. From this landing there is a double bedroom to the left and then a door leading to a walk through bedroom ( single bed) with ample wardrobes. After the single bedroom is another landing. Off this there is a bathroom ( bath no shower) and then a third double bedroom. Beyond the third bedroom there is a shower room and stairs down to a utility area. There is a large garden with patio and the views are wonderful. Because of its situation young children will need to be supervised at all times as the banks are steep. The cottage is next to an orchard with sheep grazing. The garden has rabbits and visiting pheasants. The cottage is situated near the Wessex Ridewya and other walks and the area is one of the best for walks in Dorset. The cottage has excellent WIFI The living room is large with an open fire, futon sofa and two armchairs. The kitchen is well equipped with a large table for 4, two cookers and a dishwasher. Guest access The cottage has one closed off downstairs room but otherwise guests have full access to the property Other things to note The cottage is accessed bu steps and a slop so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
