The Grange is a very large, stylish, Victorian country house set in the foothills of the Black Mountains. With eight bedrooms, two lounges and a ballroom the house is perfect for family gatherings. It is situated on the edge of the village of Glasbury, surrounded by private gardens and spectacular views of the Black mountains. Just a stones throw from the river Wye and Wye Valley walking routes. Five minutes walk to the local pub and four miles from the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye. The space The Grange is a stunning, country manor house filled with family curiosities and artwork. A well stocked library and plenty of games keep everyone entertained whilst the house provides both space and peace from which to enjoy the dramatic countryside. Set back off the road with a beautifully maintained gardens and exceptional views, it is perfect for large family holidays. Guest access The Grange is set back off the road with a large, sweeping driveway and ample parking for four or five cars. The house is south facing with French doors in most rooms opening onto a sun terrace and formal gardens. The house is on the edge of the village and just a five minute walk to the river, local pub and fine dining restaurant Foyles. Other things to note Dogs are welcome to stay but there is an additional charge of £30 per dog per stay.
