The space DANTOSA BLUE MOUNTAINS RETREAT Dantosa Blue Mountains Retreat provides you with a secluded 9-acre estate with numerous walking paths, private gardens, a private lake, floating lake house, tennis court, BBQ facilities, gazebo and even its own croquet lawn. Dantosa is a 5-minute drive from the famous Three Sisters and the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park. Originally a goat farm, the property has a 30-year-old established Blue Mountains garden and accommodation in Dantosa House. Dantosa House has accommodation for 9+ guests in shared bedrooms. Please note, there is a second accommodation - Dantosa Cottage. On occasions we may have guests booked into the Dantosa Cottage at the same time as Dantosa house. The building are spaced apart by about 50 metres. At Dantosa you will enjoy total privacy. As one guest puts it, “You live in a beautiful oasis, and yet you are only minutes away from restaurants, shops and the national park.” Enjoy a game of tennis, kayaking on the lake, a game of boules or a stroll in the beautiful gardens. Guest access DANTOSA HOUSE: ACCOMMODATION Dantosa House sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms; it has a gourmet kitchen and large living space which is ideal for entertainment. Stunning gourmet kitchen, with large ILVE stove, dishwasher, microwave, expresso machine, etc. Large entertainment and dining room with magnificent views of the lake Patio extending from living room, overlooking the private lake Wood fire, firewood, and full central heating Large flat screen TV with satellite, Apple TV and Sonos sound system, The bedrooms are configured as follows: - King bed (or two singles) and single bed with lake views - Queen bed with garden view - King bed (or two singles) with garden view - single and trundle bed (with access via first bedroom) with lake views 2 bathrooms, one with spa bath and view of the lake 2 separate toilets Full laundry (washing machine / dryer) Wifi access Other things to note Dantosa is very popular for family reunions, birthdays, small corporate retreats and getaways with friends. The property has a large lake which is lovely to swim in, particularly during summer. Please be careful with young ones and non-swimmers as the lake is in a natural setting and has no fencing. You need to take care and make sure non-swimmers are always watched when near the lake. Responsibility for safety rests with the guests. Adults must supervise children in the lake and around the property. Dantosa is much sought after. In keeping with demand, there are minimum booking periods and nightly rates vary depending on timing of your stay. Tariffs change during peak times such as school and public holidays. Very attractive tariffs are available for weekday bookings. A minimum booking tariff applies to a booking of up to 8 people. Above 8 people, a nightly rate per guest of $100 is added. A cleaning cost is added to each booking. Respect for our neighbours is paramount so we ask that noise be kept to a respectful level while in residence. In addition, please enter and leave the property quietly. Please note and respect that Dantosa is not a "party house". Thank you.
