Larger than average chalet style apartment. Our home from home is perfect for small families or friends sharing, we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Situated just a 10 minute walk from St Gervais village centre, 1 minute to the free ski bus (5 min drive to the cable car). 3 minutes walk to the swimming pool and 5 minutes walk to the "Pantinoir" (olympic sized ice rink where you can skate or watch ice hockey!) A small spa with hot tubs, steam room etc is a 10 minute walk. The space Rustic two bedroom self catered chalet apartment in great location. Linen, towels, and wifi all included in the price. Ski and snowboard lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, climbers, walkers, mountain bikers, cyclists, paragliders ... (the list goes on!!!!) and those who just want to experience the natural beauty of the French alps will love it here! Awesome location, amazing views and within easy reach to many facilities. Free Parking in front of the building. FREE ski bus a minute from the apartment taking you to the cable car to Bettex. From here you can access up to 277 miles of slopes on the Evasion Mont Blanc covering six different resorts. During Winter the skiing domain spreads across Les Contamines, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce, Combloux and Megève. In the Village centre you will find hairdressers, grocery shops, restaurants/bars, tourist information centre, seasonal entertainments, sports shops, children's playground and the Tramway du Mont-Blanc, (which brings you to the departure of the south ascent of Mont-Blanc). Saint Gervais is 30 minutes drive away from Chamonix and it's 'ice sea' or the 'Aiguille du midi' to the roof of Europe. For a unique experience you can overlook Mont-Blanc from the sky in a helicopter (about 150€ per person). Guest access The apartment has a spacious open plan living area separate entirely from the sleeping arrangements giving you a bit of space in the evenings (perfect if you have young children or are a small group of friends). There is a flat screen TV (mostly French TV) and blue ray dvd player for you to use, plus a Wii and a few games. Wifi is also included at no extra charge. The master bedroom has an extra large double bed, flatscreen TV and DVD player plus a small en suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom has two single beds. We are happy to put up a travel cot for a "fifth small person!" This is suitable for baby up to age 18 months. We have a great quality 3 wheeler buggy suitable for the hilly terrain for hire. Other things to note Please note there are two flights of stairs to access the apartment, no lift. If travelling off season remember that the ski lifts will be closed as will many other amenities but please check with the tourist office for further info
