In a 17th-century farmhouse, renovated with attention to detail and typical Umbrian features, nestled in the green and peaceful countryside, yet just 10 km from the center of Gubbio. Free Wi-Fi The space This two-story apartment (kitchen and bathroom on the mezzanine level, large bedroom on the first floor) has a separate and independent entrance in the historic 17th-century farmhouse on our farm. It offers stunning views of the valley and hills stretching to the Sibillini Mountains. The antique finishes (terracotta floors, antique wooden beams) have been lovingly restored, ensuring a holiday immersed in history while also preserving modernity and comfort. The apartment is meticulously furnished and decorated, offering everything you need for a truly relaxing stay: a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with extra blankets, and radiator heating. The large bedroom, with a double bed and two single beds, makes the apartment perfect for families with children or friends who want to share a stay. A private garden area is equipped for outdoor dining under a fragrant pergola of strawberry grapes, and there's also a barbecue grill. Just 10 minutes from the historic center of Gubbio (but with views of the medieval city from our farm!) and 30 minutes from Assisi, we're conveniently located for visiting the main villages and historic cities and for accessing hiking and trekking trails. We're immersed in complete silence, peace, and unspoiled nature (the many fireflies, ladybugs, and butterflies are our best testimony to this!) If you have children, please let us know their ages and any special needs (crib, high chair, cot, etc.). Child rates, to be paid locally in addition to the total: - 0-2 years free - 2-12 years €30 high season/€25 low season. In the case of a child sharing a room with only one adult, the adult rate will apply. A cot, high chair, and baby bath are available free of charge. Please request these when booking. The Gubbio Tourist Tax, not included in the rates, is calculated at checkout: - €2.00 per person/night for the first 4 nights of the stay; - Children up to 11 years old are exempt. CATERING SERVICE Our menus are prepared with products from our farm (naturally grown with the exclusive use of effective microorganisms). The hearty breakfast (which can be included in your reservation) and dinner (which can be booked daily at the property for complete freedom during your stay) are delivered in a basket to your apartment, ready to eat. This formula allows you to enjoy your stay without time constraints or formalities. In the warmer months, we offer convivial dinners in the garden, and in the colder months, in our yurt. ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCES All the activities offered at Montesalce aim to introduce our guests to and participate in the life of our farm and our region, to discover and, for those who wish to learn, to apply ecological techniques and practices to their daily lives, and to promote relaxation, detoxification, and personal growth through holistic programs. We offer activities with our donkeys, farming experiences, training, and eco-friendly trails. Off-road tours of the hills: an experience to discover and get to know the area by traveling along unusual and ancient roads, taking you to the true heart of Umbria. Synthesia, our holistic space, offers holistic residential programs, courses, and seminars, where different disciplines work together to foster awareness and independence for well-being in integrated ways. Holistic activities take place in our original 50-square-meter Mongolian yurt, immersed in the valley's natural beauty. Our property is located approximately 600 meters from the Sentiero di San Francesco, the pilgrimage route connecting La Verna to Assisi. Starting from the farmhouse, in addition to the Via di Francesco, there are various paths and trails to immerse yourself in nature and observe rare species of flowers (in particular wild orchids), animals (roe deer, porcupines, foxes, birds) and, depending on the season, fireflies, rare butterflies and ladybugs.
