Nestled amongst the beautiful rural landscapes of Raglan, Victoria is our little 8 acre Valdara. Wake to the sound of birdsong and sheep. Spend your day exploring the Grampians (40 minute drive) or relax with a game of pool on the antique pool table. glorious sunsets over Mt. Cole from your dining room. Star gaze on the spacious deck keeping warm by the roaring fire pit. Het away and enjoy the real country living experience! Price quoted is for one room (couple) additional guests $60 ea. The space Uniquely styled to retain its rustic charisma the Woolshed has all the charm of country living with the cozy comforts. The Woolshed boasts 3 bedrooms, bathroom, combined dining and kitchen and an open plan living and entertaining space. Ample heaters and fans are available and provided, but the true source of warmth is the potbelly stove. We provide guests with wood, kindling and matches to get the fire going ! The bedrooms are dedicated to the roles of people who worked the property, each room is cozy and comfortable. The wide and bright living and entertaining spaces showcase the beautiful surroundings of Raglan and Mt. Cole including Ferntree Gully Falls. A great space for you to unwind with a book or play a game of pool. The combined kitchen and dining is a great space for cooking and entertaining. Perfect for family getaways or for crews working in the region .We supply a bottle of water, a selection of tea bags, instant coffee, milk, sugar, Salt/Pepper and cooking oil. Guest access While staying in Valdara’s Woolshed guests will have access to the main paddock’s surrounding the accommodation. Guests are invited to wander the paddocks, find a place to sit and draw, paint, write or meditate with wonderful views of Mt Cole. Guests are able to request ‘meet and greets’ with Valdara’s resident flock of sheep and brood of hens, supervised by your host. A real agri tourism experience. Other things to note Price quoted is for 1 couple / 1 bedroom - additional guests requiring room are additional $60 Your hosts provide self check in instructions via email no later than 24 hours before your arrival. Due to high risk fire danger - no open fires. Please shut gates when wandering around. We are on septic - please only flush toilet paper Please do not drive or park on the grass but stay on the gravel If you would like to use the fire pit or use the 2 (bikes) please advise in advance We appreciate guests turning off the air / heat / electric blankets & lights when not in buildings. Fire wood has also become costly - we provide a quantity of wood and supplies based on our experience for the length of your stay, if you require more a small charge maybe due. NO party policy, we respect the environment and our Neighbours and request no loud music after 9pm.We are very grateful for the wonderful natural environment we live in and ask that our guests please respect it while visiting. Water is liquid gold and we appreciate guests being conscious of their usage. Rubbish is sorted in to recyclables and landfill, it would be greatly if our guests can organize their rubbish accordingly. Please be careful when opening and closing the old wooden glass windows, they can be stiff with weather changes.
