La Casa al Castello

We live near the medieval castle of Montecalvo Versiggia, the house belonged to the sharecroppers of the castle. Nature is purely woodland, this is a place where children can play and run without danger. We love animals. The space We're a big family. We live in a reality that is disappearing, the simplicity of our home and our genuine hospitality makes our guests feel at ease, if you fall in love with a painting, a sculpture or a piece of furniture while staying in the apartment... you can buy it and take it home with you. You can organize guided hiking excursions, direct to the various stables in the area or simply collaborate in our forest maintenance project; the landscape is suggestive and relaxing. Music masters from the nearby town of Stradella will cheer you up on theme nights with soloists, duets, trios, quartets, etc. Guest access the house is at guests' complete disposal, they will have a large patio equipped with armchairs, tables and chairs, surrounded by lush greenery. Other things to note We care about biodiversity, the primary source of life... We do not use pesticides or herbicides. Butterflies, bees and many other pollinating insects are part of this habitat. The surrounding nature is lively: there are porcupines, squirrels, hares, wolves, foxes, wild boars, roe deer, hedgehogs, moles, and swallows that will stay in the nearby castle in spring. You can walk undisturbed in the quiet of nature. The scents of elderberry blossoms from April to June, or acacia in May, the fragrant caper flowers from June to August along the castle walls, the wild orchids, the huge oaks, the beeches, the lavender blossoms along the castle path... in short, the surrounding environment made up of small wonders... for those who know how to look.
