This village house with its exposed stone walls, staircase and typical island fireplace can accommodate up to 4 people. It is located on a quiet and flowery street (no vehicle access). It has no courtyard or garden but is ideally located just 30 m from the village of La Noue and 300 m from Montamer beach. The space The house consists of a main room (living room/kitchen) on the ground floor. Upstairs you will have access to the 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom with 2 beds of 90 and 1 bedroom with a bed of 140. A toilet and finally a bathroom with shower. Bed linen and bath linen are not provided. It is a welcoming, cozy and functional house that we have been keen to decorate and furnish in a "seaside" spirit without being cliché. For the sake of eco-responsibility, the house is fully furnished using second-hand furniture or by manufacturing some furniture ourselves, such as the dresser that partitions the kitchen or the coffee table in the living room. We provide some bulky items for your travels but very useful, such as a travel cot for parents. But also an adult women's mountain bike and a beach umbrella. In the kitchen, you'll find staples like oil/vinegar, salt/pepper, pasta, sugar, etc., which you'll renew for the next guests if you use them. We also have a Nespresso machine but for purists or the most eco-friendly among you, a French press is also available! Here there is no wifi, so detox is guaranteed and a total change of scenery from your hectic daily life! Switch to chill mode! Guest access You have access to the entire accommodation. Other things to note The house being in the heart of the village, you will have the privilege of finding everything just a few steps away. The nearest store to us is the bike rental company and the village also has another bike rental company, 2 bakeries, a dairy, a fishmonger, a biscuit factory, a tobacco/press shop, a wine cellar, 3 restaurants including one with a hotel. There is also an artist's gallery as well as an exhibition hall in the old school. Of course, the must-see of the island after its bicycles, are its markets; They take place every morning and in each of the 10 villages of the Ile de Ré. Our village is not left behind since it hosts one, of human size and quite authentic with its small producers of the island but not only. All you have to do is take the basket at your disposal and go for a walk. When it's time for you to go crab fishing or swimming, you'll only have 300 m to go. At Montamer beach you can walk on the rocks of the foreshore at low tide or swim at high tide in the sandy part which is also supervised by lifeguards. Adjacent to the beach you will enjoy a large park crossed by a bike path with various children's games, a facility with self-service weight machines, petanque courts, a small hut that offers coffee and ice cream among other things and finally a small museum "l'ancre maritaise" which also organizes guided tours on the nearby foreshore.
