The Mongolian Ger

Relax in a unique woodland escape with breathtaking views over the Welsh countryside. Larkhill Tipis and Yurts is an off grid, sustainable and child friendly small glamping site. With four acres of woodland, lots of carvings, fairy houses, a park and little pathways to explore it's a safe haven for little ones. Our focus is on nature, enjoying and exploring it. Kids can make friends, make dens and become more independent, while the grown ups relax in the peaceful surroundings. The space In its own private setting this is a very cosy and warm yurt. The Ger has a central wood-burning stove and is furnished with three raised pine beds - one double and two singles. The beds are decorated with colourful throws and cushions creating a wonderfully warm ambience. Bedding can be supplied at extra charge (£20 for everyone for the duration of your stay) and we supply a chest full of blankets if it gets a little cold. There is a gas hob inside the Ger with all the cooking equipment, utensils and crockery you could need. A basket of firewood will be supplied and there is also a private campfire just outside the Ger (perfect for outdoor cooking!) as well as a picnic bench. Extra baskets of firewood are £5 per basket. Guest access The log cabin is a central hub for the campsite where all guests can interact. There is a covered area outside the log cabin for communal campfires. Four acres of woodland, pathways throughout, lots of wood carvings, including a fairy village and play area. Facilities include two hot showers, a compost loo and a flush toilet
