Glamping Pod between Cork City & Killarney

Moira opened her eco-friendly Glamping pod with integral toilet in 2016. There is a brand new self-catering kitchenette & shower area in the nearby Outhouse. Here you can enjoy walking on the Gearagh & visiting local historical sites, an ideal base for exploring Cork city, West Cork and Kerry. Tig Lammax is set in the quiet countryside, Macroom is 10 mins, Cork City 40 mins & Killarney 55 mins. Macroom town centre & the nearest shops & bus service are 6km away. See tiglammax com website. The space To avoid negative reviews on location, it is important for you to note that this is quiet farming countryside with no nearby facilities. Corcoran's Pod sits at the high point of the garden of Tig Lammax with a pleasant outlook over the newly landscaped garden. The pod has a fully dressed double bed and a double sofa bed. It is suitable for 3 adults or a family of 4. NOTE: We provide linen for the double bed. For the sofa bed, if you do not have your own sleeping bags, we will provide sleeping bags with inner liners. There is a built-in toilet compartment with hand washbasin. The nearby Outhouse contains a shower & toilet, a kitchen, washing machine (€2 per use) & dryer (€2 per use). The Pod is self-catering but breakfast can be provided for €5 per head consisting of cereals, homemade bread & jams, and/or egg, by prior arrangement. Guests are welcome to prepare their meals in the Outhouse or join us for an evening meal for €7.50 a head, by prior arrangement. Guest access The cottage sitting room is available for the shared use of our guests, though, as it is the passageway from the family room to the bedrooms, it is not exclusive. There is satellite TV in the sitting room as well as a piano & guitar (for the musical) as well as WiFi which is now available all over the property. During your stay I work from home so I am usually available for help and advice during the day and I enjoy meeting and interacting with people from all over the world. Other things to note Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We guarantee that your sleep will not be disturbed by revellers returning from the pub at closing time! I have a dog named Pedro, who is very friendly as well as being child-friendly.
