Away with the Birds Retreat.

"Away with the Birds" is a unique and creative retreat set within 1/2 an acre of rambling and magical gardens. Your room is a private self contained Bungalow on the property called "The Nest". Cradled in the foothills of Mt Donna Buang and a short stroll from shops & restaurants the property also has a lovely working pottery studio where your host, an accomplished potter & art therapist weaves her magic. If you are wanting a special place to relax and be creatively inspired then look no further. The space I'm excited to be offering my lovely Bungalow "The Nest", a relaxing, harmonious space where you can completely unwind. No children or pets. The bungalow is light filled, private and very cosy. It has its own ensuite which makes for complete privacy and convenience. The queen size bed is very comfortable and fully made up. There is split system air conditioner for those cooler nights and crisp mornings. Plenty of clean blankets and quilts if needed. Air conditioning is available for the hotter days to keep you comfortable. There is a small kitchenette in the room with microwave, refrigerator, electric jug, crockery, cutlery, a range of teas and coffee and a light breakfast. I also provide secure undercover shedding for bicycles. For those creatively inclined people the artistic surrounds will surprise and delight. Guests can feel free to roam the gardens or visit the pottery studio. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the pottery. Guest access Guests have access to the 1/2 acre of garden, they are welcome to visit the pottery studio and of course the lovely fully self contained Bungalow accommodation. The garden has many lovely private spots to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Other things to note Away with the Birds is only a short drive away from wineries and other local attractions. We are located within walking distance of the Warburton Trail suitable for walking and cycling. Warburton is also renowned for its mountain bike tracks and cycling events. Lala falls is a stroll up the hill and the giant Red Wood forest at Cement Creek a 10 min drive away. I do not accommodate children or pets.
