The space Description In the heart of the Butterfly Valley, a unique biotope of exceptional beauty, a traditional, stone built villa with a sea view to Antiparos, is located right under the refreshing shade of two, huge, perennial plane trees. This protected designated Natura area, is an oasis of coolness among trees, bushes and vineyards and is of high ecological importance, as a habitat of a rare butterfly that lives here in hundreds and as a significant bird breeding area. Except for its natural beauty, the Butterfly Valley is also an area of historical importance as it used to be the summer resort of notable families of Cyclades. Some of their beautiful houses that date back to 1800, as well as the Alisafis’ tower house, can be visited on foot. The villa is a two bedroom house of 100 sq.m in a 4000 sq.m property of unique natural beauty, that guarantees tranquility and privacy. At the main entrance of the house there is a big patio with a mountain view, naturally shaded by the dense leaves of one of the two perennial plane trees ( platanus) of the property. The patio is also fully equipped with a set of a wooden table and comfortable armchairs and offers a designated area for a hammock under the shade of two old olive trees of exceptional beauty. At the front of the house, there is a spacious stone built veranda, naturally shaded by the second huge plane tree ( platanus), which offers a spectacular sea view to Antiparos. It has also got a nice pergola and a dining area ,fully equipped with a wooden table and a set of comfortable armchairs. Two sun beds are also available for sunbathing or relaxing during the day. At night, the lights of Antiparos’ port and the ferry from Paros to Antiparos that travels back and forth, keep you a nice company. The house has a spacious cosy living room with two traditional, built-in sofas, two comfortable armchairs, a nice wooden coffee table and a buffet with a flat screen TV set and HI-FI system. There is also a fireplace and access to the front large veranda with sea view to Antiparos. The traditionally built spacious kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining area with a set of table and chairs. It has access to both, front veranda with sea view and patio with mountain view. There is a bathroom with a shower/bath and a washing machine. The asset of the house is the surrounding private area of unique, natural beauty and the two big verandas, both among dense vegetation that ensures coolness during the hot, summer months. Free wi- fi is available at all areas of the house. The house is located 6km SW from Parikia, the capital of Paros, 4,5 km from Punta, where you can get the ferry to the popular Antiparos and 3,5 km from the nearest tropical beach of Agia Eirini. In fact, the location of the property in the middle of Paros makes the access to all destinations quite easy.
