Hostel in Gimmelwald

Simple and cozy 16-bed room (bunk beds) in the main building of our hostel. A good option for single travellers, friends and groups who like the atmosphere of mountain huts and like to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Gimmelwald. Room facilities: Bunk bed with duvet & comfy pillow, free WiFi, plug socket, access to a modern shared bathroom and a rich breakfast. The space An exceptional hostel in a unique location. Guest access As you might have seen, we are located in a car-free village in the mountains. To reach us, you can go by car or public transport to Stechelberg to the valley station of the Schilthorn cable car. From there the gondola will take you to the mountain village of Gimmelwald within 4 minutes and costs 6 CHF. The hostel is located in Gimmelwald right next to the gondola station after the gravel path. In the evening the gondola leaves every hour until 23:45 - on weekends until after midnight. Other things to note An additional fee of CHF 3.10 tourist tax per night/person has to paid at check-in.
