The space Villa El Nido is located at the edge of Barat National Park with spectacular views over the valley and ocean. You can see Menjangan Island as well as the 5 volcanoes on Java 70 km away. El Nido is a minimalist design villa with 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The open living area and kitchen feel like part of the garden and the garden part of the interior. Relax in the gazebo or on the 2 sun beds under the frangipanis, set in a spacious terrace with a 6 x 3m infinity pool with sweeping views of the surounding nature. The villa has one large ground floor bedroom with a 2x2 meter bed, airconditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV and safety deposit box. Enter the large en-suite bathroom through an antique Balinese door. On the top floor you can find the second bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a a 2x2 meter bed, airconditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar and safety deposit box. This bedroom has a private terrace with hammock and access to the roofgarden. Pools You are welcome to use our two communal pools: Lingga Pool A 22-meter communal pool, ideal for swimming laps, with spectacular sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java. Madya Pool A beautiful 30-meter shared pool surrounded by greenery, perfect for relaxed daytime swims or lap swimming, also offering breathtaking sunset views over the Java volcanoes. DINING We have three restaurants available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: Suma Restaurant Fusion cuisine with panoramic views over the hills and Sumberkima Bay. Senja Restaurant Indonesian cuisine overlooking the Barat National Park, with colorful sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java. Mangroove Bay Restaurant Relaxed farm-to-table dining by the bay, easily reached with our free shuttle service. Room service is available from a dedicated Suma Restaurant menu at a small additional charge, allowing you to enjoy meals in the privacy of your villa. FITNESS & WELLNESS Guests may access our panoramic padel courts and fully equipped functional fitness space, suitable for all levels. Group sessions include CrossFit-inspired workouts, HYROX training, Muay Thai, and functional fitness. Independent training is also possible, with experienced trainers available for guidance. Groove Fitness hosts a complimentary Sunday morning Run Club at Mangroove Bay, accessible via our free shuttle. YOGA & SPA Our yoga pavilion, overlooking the shimmering blue Bali Sea, offers walk-in and private classes with an on-site teacher. The Spa at Sumberkima Hill is open daily from 09:00 to 21:00, offering traditional massages, healing treatments, and beauty therapies. The sauna and ice bath are available daily from 08:00 to 20:00. EXPERIENCES & ACTIVITIES Our experience book, available via our Linktree, features a curated selection of activities and excursions. A resident dive instructor, also involved in the Metamorfosa reef restoration project, is available to visit your villa to discuss diving options and PADI certification. SERVICES & TRANSPORT - Laundry service available - Free shuttle service within the retreat, to Mangroove Bay, and to Bangsal Harbor - Taxi service to Pemuteran Beach available for IDR 75,000 per way Other things to note Sumberkima Hill Guest Agreement GENERAL Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of your own villa, supported by a range of services. Unlike a standard resort, Sumberkima Hill feels more like a village. Each villa is unique and individually owned, and most come with a private pool. Some budget options share a communal pool. Please note that due to the individual ownership of villas, switching accommodations upon arrival is usually not possible. BOOKING The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed. RATES Rates are based on occupancy by 1 or 2 guests using one room. Additional guests or the use of extra bedrooms will incur a surcharge. Children up to 2 years old stay free when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are available free of charge. INCLUDED / NOT INCLUDED Included in the rate: - Normal use of water and electricity - Tea and coffee - Housekeeping service (on request) - Trash disposal (on request) - Minibar restocking (on request — items consumed are charged separately) - Fresh water: If your accommodation does not have a water filter, a refillable gallon of drinking water is provided on request Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM. If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes. Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees. All guests must present valid ID or passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations. COMPLAINTS If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible. SOUND POLICY Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning. NATURE & ENVIRONMENT You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape. The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November. ANIMAL VISITORS As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply. DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa. Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout. We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect. SAFETY & LIABILITY Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay. Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times. By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
