GROUND FLOOR double room, ideal for local WEDDINGS

We are Bill & Elaine - a retired professional couple - who first discovered Airbnb while travelling in 2012. Since returning we have always used the site as our preferred accommodation source in the UK, Australia, Canada and beyond. The space This is a safe space; all races, religions and genders welcome. We want you to enjoy your stay here at Hillrise and hope that you will just ask us if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable. The room is on the ground floor with a king size bed and ensuite shower/loo with selection of toiletries. A TV is in the room but you are also welcome to relax in the adjacent lounge/breakfast room if you prefer, where you can also enjoy a larger smart TV. Breakfast is included and will usually include fruit, yogurt, cereals and toast, OJ & tea/coffee. However if you want to be more self-sufficient, no problem – the room is equipped with a kettle and small fridge, and we’re happy for you to use the microwave in our kitchen by arrangement. Guest access Apart from the guest room, we are pleased to offer you exclusive use of the lounge / dining room where you are welcome to relax and watch TV - or catch up with some work. We have fast fibre optic wifi and the dining table happily doubles up as a handy 'hot desk'. During your stay We will usually be around and are happy to help you out with anything if we can. If you are attending one of the local wedding venues, eg Dodmoor House, Dodford Manor, Wood Farm, Skylark Fields Farm, Fawsley Hall or Crockwell Farm (to name but a few) we will be happy to drive you - if this is possible - but you will need to book a taxi for your return journey. Other things to note We have a skittish black cat 🐈‍⬛ called Hendrix whose ambition is to spend his entire life on the sofa. He will keep out of your way!
