Description

Renovated self-contained home with off-street parking, located 10 mins East of Adelaide in the foothills. The outdoor patio is a perfect place to enjoy a cuppa & sounds of wildlife in the adjacent reserve. Fully equipped modern kitchen, laundry facilities, split system air-con. in living/dining & bedrooms, ceiling fans in bedrooms, SMART TV, WIFI & self check in. Supermarkets, cafes, reserves, bus stops and restaurants in close proximity (refer to my guidebook under 'Where you'll be' section). The space Returning to the house after a day of adventures you are immediately welcomed by the spacious living area with its raked ceilings and polished timber floorboards. The leather recliners provide a comfortable place to unwind in air-conditioned or heated comfort. Alternatively you could enjoy the fresh air seated at either of the two outdoor settings provided in the private outdoor area. Enjoy all the comforts of home, perfect for either short or long-term stays. (Bookings for greater than one month which extend beyond this listings booking limits can be made upon request). Guest access Guests may enjoy full and private use of the front unit, patio and fenced area on the Eastern side of the home. Off-street parking is available under the carport. The bins are located on the Western side of the property which is also the access point for guests of the rear unit. Guests of the front unit must not access the rear of the property beyond the side gates. (The off-street parking for guests of the rear unit is on the pavers in front of the house). Other things to note The home consists of the front portion of a large house which has been divided into two self-contained duplexes. There is no internal access between the two homes and they each have their own private outdoor area. Guests will have exclusive use of the front duplex, carport and the fenced, private outdoor area located on the Eastern side of the home. (Access to the rear duplex is made down the Western side of the property). Although I have specified that the property is unsuitable for infants (mainly due to the 50cm drop on one side of the verandah) I have had several families stay with young children. Upon request by guests I can now provide a porta cot, highchair and baby's bath (although we only have one of each to be shared between our 2 units, and so will be available on a first come first serve basis). The once-off cleaning fee charged when booking helps towards covering a thorough clean and sanitisation of the property and laundering at the end of each stay. For guests staying in excess of 7 nights a fresh set of towels and sheets will be provided each week at no extra charge. Guests are asked to maintain the home in a reasonable state of cleanliness throughout their stay. Cleaning products and basic cleaning equipment are provided, alternatively guests staying long-term can book a professional cleaner during their stay at their own cost.
