Villa Marenca is a beautiful summer residence located at the shore of Lago Maggiore, 15 walking minutes from the centre of Ascona. You will enjoy the private access to the lake as well as the many separate inside and outside areas where you can gather with your friends or be all by yourself. The main house has two bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room. The large library is attached to the main house. In the stone you will find a romantic room with balcony and toilet. The space Villa Marenca was built as a summer residence directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore in the 1940s. Over the years, new rooms have been added in the same style with white walls and stone cladding. Two cars can be parked on the private parking deck along the cantonal road. From there you can reach the house via a staircase. It offers plenty of space for guests inside and out. The panorama over the lake and the mountains is breathtaking. The kitchen is also more than just a great work area, as it offers a magnificent view over the bay of Ascona. You'll love eating outside to make the most of a sunny day. A gas grill is available for your use. Inside you will find antique and modern furniture. The dining room has a large table and a living area with fireplace. The bedrooms all have king size beds. Two of the bedrooms are located in the main building on the first floor, where the two bathrooms are also located. There is an extra toilet at the entrance. The third bedroom is located in the separate stone house, a romantic jewel with a balcony and its own toilet. The large library is suitable for reading, playing or working. There are several covered outdoor areas. To get to the lake, you descend an impressive granite staircase with granite walls. As in other areas of the house, you can choose between open and covered areas. Ascona is just a 15-minute walk away. Enjoy the old town with numerous restaurants, boutiques, museums and churches. Locarno, where the film festival and many open air concerts take place, is minutes away. Ascona offers numerous excursion opportunities and has an excellent golf course.
