The space The INDEPENDENT apartment we have is located on the ground floor, within the nineteenth-century rural courtyard called "Palazzina del Prete"; built inside the Colonica house, in front of the noblest manor house, and separated from it by a beautiful farmyard, it has a singular peculiarity: a circular nineteenth-century tower "protects" the south/west side. The apartment consists of a large living room/kitchen, two lovely bedrooms, one of which, as was once used, with communicating access, (see map) and a very special circular bathroom obtained inside the tower complete with toilet, bidet, sink and shower. The renovations have been minimal and even today you can still savor, in the large fireplace that dominates the room, in the large wooden beams that mark the floor, in the small windows protected by simple railings, what life must have been like some time ago. Outside under the arched porch, an equipped corner will allow you, in the summer, to eat outdoors overlooking the courtyard while a large garden is available at the back for moments of authentic relaxation. Surrounded by the greenery and tranquility of the Veronese countryside, the apartment is suitable for a family looking for a comfortable solution both for the city (Verona can be reached by car in just 12 minutes) and for the lake (Lazise and Peschiera 15 minutes) but without the frenzy of mass tourism. It is also great for businessmen who, after a busy day, perhaps at the fair in Verona, come here to relax. Other things to note The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped with gas burners, a moka kettle, dishes and utensils. The two bedrooms of the apartment are threaded, (passage through the first to access the second) in accordance with the architecture of the house of the past.
