Gîte la Forêt – Grain&Sens Eco-Lodge

We welcome you to a green setting, in the heart of the Ardèche. Come and relax in peace and enjoy the sounds of nature. The gîte juxtaposes several living spaces, and is not suitable for parties and loud music until late. We invite you to come and enjoy the calm and connect with nature. We are eco-friendly lodges, and we invite you to live consciously with the products you consume as well as the waste you emit. See you soon! The space The cottage is an old Ardèche house renovated according to ecological principles. Woodworking, wall plastering, bathroom mosaics, and decor make this place cozy and cocooning. Outside, you can relax to the gentle sound of the spring, play kubb or molky with the family, or take a walk in the woods that border the house. Many hiking trails start from the cottage (topo hiking guide and mountain biking at your disposal). Note: for weekend rentals, check-out time is 4 p.m. (not 12 p.m. as usual) Guest access You have access to the whole house (250 m2), it includes: - on the ground floor: equipped kitchen, dining/living room. - On the 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (2 to 3 beds), a living room (DVD player, games and library), eco-friendly toilet and a bathroom composed of 3 showers and 3 sinks. - On the 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms including a children's dormitory, a bathroom with shower and sink, an ecological toilet. - Outside, garden furniture, games, hammock, barbecue. Note that we are at the end of a road and therefore there are no vehicles passing in front of the house or crossing the outdoor space! Other things to note The Domaine de Lavenant, located in the middle mountains of the Haut Vivarais, includes 2 large cottages (with independent access and parking) and our homes. We know the area very well and can advise you on local outings, leisure activities and hikes. In addition, we offer activities around our Grain&Sens Ecolieu Many activities nearby: indoor and heated swimming pool, tennis, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, paragliding...
