Snow sure - La Tzoumaz, Verbier and 4 Valleys have ski slopes from 1500m to 3330m Children or adults have their own space with the Smart TV cinema room with Sonos surround sound, perfect for NetFlix! A wide range of international programmes also available. The chalet has five bedrooms that provide space for 11 guests to sleep comfortably. The chalet has been reconfigured summer 2024. There are 2 single beds in bedroom 4, along with a brand new en-suite shower room; bedroom 3 now has 1 single bed and a set of bunk beds for a total of 3 people in this room. We decided to charge electricity separately as an eco-friendly idea. Guests are encouraged to turn off lights and sauna when not in use. The chalet is heated by an air-source heat pump. Costs are approximately Chf 80 per week in summer and Chf 300 per week in winter. Tourist tax is payable by all visitors to the resort. Chalet ChouChou was built in 2011 as a lovely family chalet. Spread over 3 floors and with the bonus of a 2nd separate TV/cinema/games/kids room, it’s ideal for both families and friends. Separate entrance to boot room (with boot warmer which can be set on a timer to heat as you choose) ski storage and for hiking boots. Plenty more storage space immediately accessed via the entrance from the parking. Wonderful views from lots of windows, it’s as if you are floating above the valley 1000m below. Situated in a calm and quiet area, but only a short walk from the bus stop (100m, winter season only), with a 2 minute journey to the slopes. The chalet is <10 minute walk (800m) from La Tzoumaz resort centre and the télécabine (gondola) taking you up to Savoleyres, from where you can ski into the heart of the Verbier ski area, or stay the La Tzoumaz side enjoying the quieter and gentler slopes here. There are three double bedrooms, 1 twin room, and one triple room. We can provide a cot or 2, no charge, we just ask that you bring your own bedding for these. 4 bathrooms; 2 are en-suite shower rooms, 1 family bathroom with bath and separate shower, and 1 shower room on the ground floor. Kitchen – modern fully equipped kitchen. Dishwasher, induction hob with downwards integrated extractor 2 mid-height multi function ovens - essential for large groups ! Microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, meat / chinese fondue set, raclette machine, fridge/freezer, 2nd fridge for drinks, full range of crockery, cutlery and utensils Dining – large rectangular dining table, seats 11 comfortably, with chairs and bench seating. Bedroom 5 – Double bed 150 x 190; wardrobe with shelves and hanging space Bathroom 4 – shower cubicle, WC and basin Storage room: for ski boots inc boot warmer, ski rack, boot and shoe storage, plenty of hooks for jackets, coats etc. Lower Ground Floor – Cinema room with Smart TV (NetFlix etc) and Sonos surround sound, sofa, DVD, coffee table Door through to sauna. Storage area - direct access from parking, washing machine, tumble dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board and 2nd freezer. First Floor – Bedroom 1 – Double bed 180 x 200, doors to balcony with wonderful views across the valley. Large built-in cupboard with shelves and hanging space. En-suite shower room Bathroom 1 – En-suite to Bedroom 1, with shower enclosure, WC and basin. Heated towel radiator. Renovated 2024 completely updated bathroom Bedroom 2 – Double bed 180x200cm, doors to balcony with wonderful views across the valley. Large built-in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space. Bedroom 3 – twin room with 2 single beds 80 x 190. Large chest of drawers, hanging cupboard and 2 drawers. Huge triangular picture windows with wonderful views. Triple aspect - windows on 3 sides of the room. Bathroom 3 - 2024 new en-suite to bedroom 3 with heated towel rail. Bedroom 4 – triple room with 1 single bed 80 x 190 and 1 set of bunk beds 80 x 190. Hanging cupboard and shelves. Dual aspect windows. Bathroom 2 – family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and basin. Large heated towel radiator. Completely renovated 2024. 2 hairdryers Outside – The terrace is home to the jacuzzi, as well as the outside wooden dining furniture, rattan furniture with cushions (summer months only), parasol, BBQ, small lawned area. Parking for 3/4 cars. Please note that due to the nature of mountain villages, there are some steep slopes etc around the property, not all of which are fenced off. Please ensure your children are suitably supervised. Other things to note If you are bringing your pet, please let us know what size & breed when you make your booking, thanks! Tourist tax is payable in Swiss cash on arrival please. Electricity used is charged for at the end of your stay, in Swiss cash please. Usually around Chf 80 per week in summer; around Chf 300 in winter. Jacuzzi is not included in the rental cost - Chf 300 which we ask you to pay for in advance via Airbnb. We provide 1 bath towel per person, and hand towels in the bathrooms. We do not provide extra towels for the sauna or jacuzzi, please bring your own. The land to the chalet is quite steep, in winter a 4x4 vehicle is required, fitted with snow tyres, chains may also be required according to conditions. The lane is maintained during the winter months - snowplough and gravel as necessary.
