Bright SeaPoint/Ocean Central Home

This bright, cozy, safe, 1 bedroom apartment provides convenience and proximity to the Sea Point promenade, shops and Cape Town's Atlantic seaboard, CBD and the V&A Waterfront. It comfortably accommodates two people (a couple), is fully supplied, and is centrally located on a quiet street, near shops, restaurants and public transportation. Please read the house rules and full listing before booking. I'll do my best to make sure you have a comfortable stay and good experience. The space I'm offering for rental a small (33 square metres), but well supplied and well-designed apartment for rent. The apartment is very well situated, one block from the Sea Point main road which is full of restaurants, shops and night life, and two more blocks away from the gorgeous Sea Point promenade and the ocean - a great spot for sunset strolls and sunrise runs. It is centrally located and VERY convenient to public transportation (including a few MyCity bus routes) and near to the CBD, the V&A Waterfront and the ocean. The apartment is secure, in a building with security staff at the entrance. The apartment comfortably sleeps two (sharing a double bed) -- An arrangement can be made for a guest to sleep on the sofa (does not pull out), but this must be agreed with in advance before the booking is confirmed. You have a small view of the ocean which is a close walk to the apartment. Please note the nearby beach “beach access” is at the promenade, a 2-5 minute walk away. There is fast WIFI included and reasonable use electricity. There is a UPS to allow for WiFi access even during loadshedding/ power cuts. There’s a secure parking space behind a gate and a concierge at the entrance. There's lots to do in the neighborhood (please see the guidebook once you book- I'm listing my favourite places there). If you book, I'm sure you'll have a great stay at this apartment, and in wonderful Sea Point, and I'll do my best to make that likely. Check-in is between 2-4pm and checkout is at 10am. If these times do not suit, please discuss alternative options PRIOR to confirming a booking. MORE ON WHAT'S INCLUDED / AVAILABLE: You'll find in this home away from home: a walk in shower (no bath), a washing machine, basic local cable (news/local channels only), television with HDMI (bring your own Apple TV type device), and a starter supply of tea/coffee/sugar/oil/salt/pepper/washing powder/toilet paper/soap. There is a small fridge with a freezer box, oven, stove, kettle, microwave, toaster, coffee plunger, pots/pans, dishes etc in the kitchen. There is an iron, ironing board, a hairdryer, some mini speakers, two fans and a heater. Please ask in advance about other needed supplies. Some cupboards are locked and unavailable to you, but there is decent storage place (see photos) and the apartment is nicely set up for guests. Guest access You will have full use of the apartment. There is a concierge/security who controls access to the building. You will need to sign in when you enter the building, show your government-issued ID and have your photo taken for the security computer system. You will have keys to enter the building and should keep them with you in case the security is away from the front desk. Two sets of keys are usually available. Other things to note Guests will be responsible for any damage or loss to the apartment and should only book this apartment if they are prepared to treat the apartment with care and not damage furnishings and the interior. While the configuration for pricing on airbnb is set up so as to not automatically charge an extra guest fee, whether your request is accepted versus others (or at all), and also pricing agreed to or offered, including special offers, are based on the number of guests in your original request. Additional guests are not allowed without prior written approval by owner and will result in additional fees. Discounts for longer stays are already reflected in the air bnb calendar pricing so please see the totals given by the air bnb platform. For longer stays, we can arrange a cleaning person to come in. Please let us know if you'd like that. You can pay them directly in cash at R450 per day. The apartment is also thoroughly cleaned before each stay so you are presented with a very clean space.
