Peaceful, spacious and surrounded by rural scenery, it is an inviting base for couples, families or friends looking to relax and explore the Wye Valley. Inside, the master suite has a comfortable double bed, walk-in wardrobe and private en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds and convenient access to the family bathroom. A welcoming lounge with comfortable sofas, a television and log-effect fire provides plenty of space to unwind together after a day outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area includes a fridge-freezer, four-ring hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, making everything from relaxed breakfasts to evening meals simple. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge, allowing guests to stay connected or plan local adventures during their stay. Step outside onto the furnished private decking, where you can enjoy morning coffee, dine in the fresh country air or take in the surrounding countryside and Herefordshire sunsets. An allocated barbecue and firepit make alfresco meals and evenings part of the experience. Dedicated hard-standing parking is provided for a convenient arrival. The renowned Wye Valley Walk passes directly through Caplor Farm, so scenic countryside walks begin on the doorstep. The River Wye is nearby, while Fownhope, picturesque villages, welcoming country pubs, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye are within easy reach. Windmill View does not include a hot tub, making it a straightforward and comfortable choice for guests who value space, privacy and a peaceful location. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Guest access Access to the lodge is on foot, with parking available directly in front of the accommodation for your convenience. Guests are very welcome to explore the farm and surrounding acres of countryside walks, which are free to enjoy during your stay. For everyone’s safety, please do not feed the horses (as tempting as it may be, it can be harmful). We kindly ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times and that you clean up after them. Please be mindful that the farm is also home to our residents and a number of small businesses—do not disturb them. If you’re travelling with an electric vehicle, a Rolec 7kW (32amp) EV charger is available in the hard-standing car park for an additional fee.
