Description
A 4 star Visit Scotland Victorian villa built in 1885 owned and run by Lawrence & Katrina since 2015. The house sits in attractive gardens on the shore of Loch Linnhe near Ballachulish and Glencoe and surrounded by spectacular mountain and coastal scenery. Full Scottish breakfast is included along with free wifi and parking. All rooms have en-suite showers. Special dietary needs can be catered for with notice. We also have another double room (room 4) listed on Airbnb. The space The room has a standard double bed and a loch view looking towards Lochleven and Glencoe. This is one of our quietest and most private rooms located at the side of the house. Room facilities are as follows: complementary hospitality tray with teas/coffee and biscuits, Highland soap company toiletries, bottled water, fresh milk (on request). Large TV and radio, USB charging port, hair drier and Iron and ironing board (on request). Guest access Guests have access to a ground floor shared lounge with wood burning stove and views across the loch. A whisky honour bar and a complementary coffee station is located here (just pay for your drinks on departure). Breakfast is from 8-9am in our dining room at a private table. A packed breakfast is available for early departure with notice. We are sorry there is no kitchen or laundry room for guest use. During your stay We live on the premises and are often around to offer help and advice when needed. We can be called via a guest bell. Other things to note We do not offer self catering facilities or dinner at the guest house however there are several restaurants in the local area. We will advise on receipt of booking and assist with dinner reservations. We also are sorry we do not have guest laundry facilities.
