Swifts Barn - Stanbury Wharf

Swifts Barn is one of two cottages converted from the old wharf building on the now dried up section of the Bude Canal. Sleeping 6, this spacious cottage has its own garden with a deck for outdoor dining. Guests can enjoy our games room with a pool table, darts and table football , children's climbing frame and a field for dog walking or games in the summer. There is off road parking. We are only 10 miles from the sandy beaches at Bude, North Cornwall and there are many pleasant walks nearby. The space Swifts Barn has a large open plan living and kitchen area downstairs with 3 comfortable bedrooms upstairs. There are two large bathrooms (one with a bath downstairs and one with a shower upstairs). The cottage is well equipped with all the essential appliances and kitchenware you could need on holiday. The private garden is fully fenced with 5ft5 wood panels. Guest access Guests have access to their own cottage and garden with a deck area with seating and a table to eat outdoors. You also have access to the field (on lead dogs only), the climbing frame, the games room and the sharing shed - beach equipment, games for the field and children's gokart and bicycles (bring your own helmet) Other things to note We now have a games room for the use of the guests, that includes pool table (pay per play), darts board and table football. We also have chickens and bees (at least 100m from the cottage), so guests can buy eggs and honey. If guests are interested we can do talks on chicken and bee keeping (weather and time permitting)
