The space Kookaburra Retreat is a completely private self contained retreat adjoining our house and located on the very edge of Aussie bushland with abundant wildlife. Kookaburra's will laugh with you and possums and wallabies may visit you at night. The resident brush turkeys often parade through for a visit and Panna our cat, is always up to greeting guests, looking for a pat and a cuddle. If you are visiting family or friends, attending a local wedding, attending a course or just planning a family getaway, come and experience what Kookaburra Retreat has to offer. Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful bushland setting and wildlife at your doorstep as well as the serenity it provides. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Enjoy exploring the surrounding bushland and the many bushwalking tracks which are accessible from the backyard and within the area. The Great North Walk is very close by. Stop in overnight or stay longer and enjoy the many shorter walks on offer. Do as much or as little as you want. There is so much to discover and the stars shine so much brighter away from the city lights. You will have your own private "West Wing" with plenty of room. Kitchen, dining, lounge, toilet and veranda downstairs with direct access to the backyard and bush. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and balcony are upstairs. 1 x King bed with walk in robe 1 x Queen bed (Additional extras are available to be added if required at additional charges: Single Bed/Porta cot/Fold away bed) All linen and towels are supplied. Soap and shampoo are also supplied. Kitchen: fridge, cook top, microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer, electric wok, cookware, crockery, cutlery & glassware Breakfast cereal options and milk Tea, coffee and sugar Weber Family Q - Gas BBQ TV, Foxtel, DVD/Blue Ray/Stereo, Free WiFi Books, Games, Puzzles Hairdryer Washing Machine, Dryer, Iron and ironing board 10A outdoor power point is available for EV charging. Guest access All facilities within the retreat and backyard are available for use. Fire Pit, Pizza Oven, Play Equipment (fire restrictions dependent). Safe and secure off street parking is available for 1 car, multiple motor bikes or push bikes. We are up a battle axe driveway so pending how big a vehicle or trailer, we are open to assist if possible. Other things to note All linen and towels are supplied. Soap and shampoo are also supplied. A folder is available within the retreat to assist with the many places to visit and things to do. We are also happy to assist with anything wherever possible.
