The space Our place is ideal for nature trails and stress free unwinding. You will experience the pure bliss of just existing unconditionally with nature! I often have experienced this at our cottage - the sheer unadulterated joy of breathing in the fresh air with a hint of the earthy fragrance all around in the air and watched all my worries fade away! You can come with a book, dvds, football, cricket, hiking shoes or just all your friends to share and spread the happiness ! This place has given us tremendous satisfaction and joy of hosting wonderful guests and we would only want to share this joy further by having special people like you enjoy and experience what we do with nature here. We assure you that you will go home with a smile on your face refreshed and re-energised. Things to see around: - Excellent hiking trails - Historic Sinhagad fort 20 mins away. This fort was won by Chhatrapati Shivaji from the Mughals in 1670. - Lavasa City is a scenic one hour drive away along the backwaters. Take a day trip there to enjoy the restaurants, movies and water sports there and then come back to the lap of nature that is your home Abhijay ! - Nilkantheshwar Temple - this Shiva temple is a hidden gem of Pune, located just a 30 min drive away. It is a 30 min hike up the hill to get fabulous views of the Panshet and Varasgaon dams. Restaurant serving excellent crab on the roadside while going there is an added bonus. Guest access Entire house - 3 bedroom 2 bath with 3 large terraces and amazing views. Master bedroom has a large balcony opening into the backyard. There is a living room, dining area and a kitchen. Other things to note Food: There is a nice cafeteria a 5 minute walk away that serves delicious food. We will help place your initial order and you can do it directly thereafter once you are at home. While we have received very good feedback for the food we DO NOT take responsibility for the same. Guests must pay the cafeteria directly and settle the bill the night before checkout. Food is NOT included in our stay. A barbecue and a bonfire MAY be possible to be arranged for a charge. Please check with us in advance. Amenities: TV - HDTV with satellite connection. You can connect your laptop or USB. If you want to see any particular channels you are requested to let us know in advance. Electricity - our home has a UPS backup. Power voltage fluctuations are due to MSEB and are not under our control. Drainage - fully functional. Water - complete infrastructure including ground and roof water tanks and water pump. Water heating - There is a small water heater connected to the shower as well as a couple of heating coils and buckets. Get your own bath towels. Since our home is away from the city it is difficult to get skilled labour over at short notice. While we take every effort to make sure that your stay is comfortable you agree not to hold us responsible for infrastructure glitches that may occur during your stay. We will try to fix things during your stay, if that is not possible then immediately after your stay for sure. We welcome like-minded people who want to enjoy a home away from the crowded city with clean air, wonderful views and immense peace in a secure environment (there are security personnel in the area and we share a common wall with the NDA).
