Fully renovated XVIIIth century house, where we live, full of flowers and beautiful objects (to be treated with care) all amenities, sleeps up to 6 adults, beautiful garden and terrace, antique furniture, fireplace, barbecue, and much more. Relax in a pristine environment (deers in the garden, and apples in season), explore Normandy: 5mn drive from Dives, Cabourg, Houlgate. Not recommended for unruly children... The space While the house itself is cozy and picturesque, he idea is to live outdoors, even when you are in the house (that's what the veranda is for)... This is nature at its best, with a lot of flowers, trees, birds, and even deer (in the twilight). In season, eat as many apples as you can, but don't brew cider. Use the herb garden responsibly. Perfect for one or two couples, or a couple with children. No more than six people altogether. Baby bed and bath available. 11,000 sq. house on two levels, the 1/2 acre garden faces North and the sea, a terrace on the South faces the woods. Ground level (US first floor): a large living and dining room, with a fireplace, a kitchen (including combined oven, refrigerator / deep-freezer). The kitchen opens on the veranda; a bathroom (with bath), a toilet, a spare (laundry) room with washing machine and dryer. The table in the veranda is adjustable in height if you want to eat in the veranda. Upper level (US second floor): two bedrooms with king size beds, one of them with an ensuite bathroom (shower, sink and toilet). Nearby: - two beaches (Cabourg and Houlgate(URL HIDDEN)golf courses. - many horse-riding establishments, Prices include sheets and towels, the house will be cleaned when you depart. Two sets of outdoor dining equipment: tables and chairs; also barbecue, sunbeds. High-speed Internet via Wifi. Local tourist tax ( 0,65 € per day per person above 12), to be paid on arrival. Guest access Outdoor equipment: deck chairs and beds, dining tables (in the shed or on the terrace). Barbecue: next to the shed, under its pentice. Other things to note There is room to store your stuff in the bedrooms. If you have only a few things to dry or prefer not to hear the the electric clothes dryer, you can hang clothes under the house's pentice or in the garden on the foldable drying rack (in the shed).
