In close proximity there are several excellent pubs, namely The Five Alls at Filkins, 5 minutes by car or a 50 minute walk. The Victoria Inn at Eastleach is a 20 minute walk from the cottage. The Bell at Langford or The Bull at Burfotf are within easy reach also. There are many beautiful walks in the area through some of the best Cotswold countryside and close to the cottage are the villages of Eastleach, Lechlade, Burford and Fairford. St Mary's Church in Fairford has a set of 28 pre-Reformation stained glass windows which have been described as "probably the most complete set of medieval stained glass in Britain". The home of William Morris at Kelmscott Manor is also worthwhile visit and is 15 minutes by car. Other attractions in the area include Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens and Blenheim Palace, 10 minutes and 40 minutes by car respectively.
