Our self catering accommodation is in an 800 year old converted monastery situated 5 minutes drive from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, renowned for its Vino Nobile wines, close to art and culture, with great views, restaurants, coffee bars and enotecas. Our local area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, joggers or simply walking through the incredible Tuscan country side that offers memorable sights of farmland, forests and rolling hills. The space Apartment 2 - Michelozzo, Michelozzo Michelozzi Maximum - 1 couple A studio apartment situated on the 1st floor in the main structure of the 800 year old ex monastery. The accommodation has its own private entrance that leads from a shared balcony, where you can sit and enjoy morning coffee or a glass of our local wine in the afternoon and cherish the great views of the Tuscan landscape of forests, olive trees and the country side. The kitchen is made of dark pine wood and the décor is simple, rustic but very attractive Tuscan Country Style. On the same floor is the bathroom furnished with a closed off shower, toilet, bidet and sink. From the lounge and open plan kitchen leads a wooden stair way up to the bedroom. The bedroom is built in the gracious form of a wooden mezzanine as this apartment has a high terracotta wooden beamed ceiling overlooking the lounge below that gives this studio a unique touch. The "bedroom" is furnished with a double bed with an orthopaedic mattress, bedroom furniture and boasts wonderful views of the Valdichiana, Lake Trasimeno and Umbria in the distance. The garden furnished with chairs, tables and sun beds is a quick short flight of stairs directly down from the apartment. Guest access The accommodation is part of our 800 year old converted monastery situated 5 minutes drive from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, renowned for its Vino Nobile wines. Accommodation include free 24 hours internet connection / WIFI which is available around the pool (during the warmer months), terraces, gardens and accommodations. There is no charge for car parking or the use of our private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farm lands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views behind each corner..... All guests have free use of our Swimming pool during the summer season, small football field and BBQ's. Other things to note All apartments are self catering and furnished with linen, towels etc and kitchen utensils. Bath and bed linen is changed every 3/4 nights. For extra linen or towels changes, a supplementary charge will be applied. Accommodation rates includes: - Free 24 hours internet / WIFI. - A private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farmlands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views behind each corner..... - Small grass football field and stretching / yoga area - 100 meter hill climb for extra running activities - Parking - Gardens and terraces - BBQ facilities - Swimming pool (during the warmer season) During the colder season, rates are exclusive of central heating, to be paid separately in on a consumption basis. Each accommodation is individually controlled. Rates are non profit.
