The Snug is the perfect place for short stays if you like a private space instead of a hotel. You'll have everything you need, all in one cosy place. Our self checkin is quick & easy. Your own private entrance & driveway. Your own outside deck area. We are outside the Clean Air Zone. The Snug is a separate building in the garden of our property. We are on hand to solve problems, but more often than not you may not actually see us at all. The space The Snug is a self-contained unit. It has a kitchenette with electric induction hob, Microwave oven , fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, pans and crockery. A/C keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter. The modern shower room has a Mira electric shower, heated towel rail, toilet and wash-hand basin. Wi-Fi is included at no extra charge. There is a smart TV with access to Amazon content as well as access to our Netflix account and other entertainment apps such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub etc. Double bed with all linen and towels provided. Indoor chairs & tray tables. You have exclusive use of a deck area with a view of the River Avon with outside furniture. Although this is partially overlooked by our kitchen window, it isn't overlooked by any neighbouring houses. Guest access You can park one vehicle on the private driveway, but if you want to drop your car off early prior to check in, street parking isn't a problem. We are outside the Bristol Clean Air Zone (CAZ). The number 5 bus stop (Chapel Way stop) is just 10 minutes walk away, it is a slightly long route into the city centre, arrives every 30 minutes and runs until around 10.00pm weekdays, (and a little later on Saturdays). The service is reduced on Sundays. You can find the bus route on First Bus>Bristol>Number 5>St Annes to Clifton. An Uber into town takes between 10 and 15 minutes, or you can pick up an electric rental scooter nearby (at the roundabout by the Coop on Wyatts View). Bristol Temple Meads Station is 15 minutes drive away. Bristol International Airport is 30-40 minutes drive away, and the route from the property avoids the CAZ. The City of Bath is 30 minutes by car - Bath also has a CAZ in operation. But you can use the Newbridge Park & Ride service to avoid Bath's CAZ. Other things to note We are in a peaceful residential location just by the River Avon and 4 miles from Bristol City Centre. There are local shops within walking distance and a few nice restaurants and take-aways locally as well (please see the Guidebook). We are outside the Bristol Clean Air Zone (CAZ). But if you drive into or through the centre you may have to pay the CAZ charge - you can check your vehicle online by searching for Bristol Clean Air Zone.
