In the middle of Freiburg near the main train station, university, theater, concert hall, pedestrian zone. Authentic + individual, Freiburg neighborhood life included! Attention: Typical downtown parking situation! Suboptimal bathroom: Not suitable for people looking for total intimacy. 2nd floor, 80 square meters, 2 bedrooms.1 living room, kitchen, bathroom, 2 balconies, ideal for 4 people (then the price-performance ratio is also right, -)). Non-smokers. Waste separation! No washing machine. No parties!! No prostitution!! The space With us you will live in a really typical Freiburg way. You will get the spirit of the city and a very special district and thus enjoy the mixture of halfway professional guesthouse feeling and a kind of living together in the middle of our beautiful city. Here are a few things to know before deciding to book: The extremely good location close to the center mentioned several times implies the usual noise (sometimes party people at 3 AM, typical side street traffic noise, construction sites). For the great location, it is still comparatively quiet with us. Unfortunately, exceptions prove the rule. ++Old building!++ Due to the old building situation, the bathroom is only accessible from the kitchen, with a glass door (so that it does not get so dark in the kitchen) and lockable (suboptimal, old building), nothing for people who are looking for total luxury with maximum intimacy... (shower in the photo to the right next to the toilet). Also due to the old building: creaking floorboards, high ceilings, construction from around 1900 and thus, depending on the weather, occasionally cold, especially on the feet. If old building standards or creaking floorboards do not bother you, you are welcome to book with us. ++Pillows++ We also want to address a well-known favorite topic, the thing with the pillows…: The eternal dilemma between plague and cholera, disgusting, unhygienic pillows that are nice and fluffy or pillows that we wash regularly at 60°, and which of course eventually get lumpy. There is only one sensible solution here: If you absolutely understandably attach a lot of importance to the absolutely right pillow, you can simply bring your own. ++Darkening++ In one of the bedrooms you can lower shutters and then have a very dark room. In the other two bedrooms you can fold old shutters from the outside in front of the windows, they do not completely darken the room, so if you need absolute darkness, you will not be able to sleep well there. ++Sustainability!++ We are upcycling and vintage fans. We prefer to repair or put second-hand furniture in the apartment. As part of our attitude and by conscious decision and not out of stinginess. Waste separation and, preferably, waste avoidance are extremely important to us. We offer you enough space and sorting systems in the apartment and in the courtyard to collect garbage that can be recycled separately. That is why we kindly ask you not to sink the garbage completely in a garbage bag. In the end, we stand there and sort out your garbage... You can leave suitable food leftovers in the kitchen or place them in the food-saving corner on the 2nd floor. We are part of the food sharing community and still find happy buyers. And as a further contribution to climate protection: If you bring your own bed linen, you will be reimbursed 10 euros/person at the end. ++Parking and Wi-Fi++ Please also deal (beforehand) in detail with the topics "Parking in the city center" and "(free) WiFi." For this, we offer you detailed information within this listing description. ++Hygiene++ For hygienic reasons, you make the beds yourself, because then you are sure that the laundry has passed through as few hands as possible. Upon departure, we ask you for the same reasons to pile the laundry in the corner and dispose of the garbage in the courtyard (or, as already mentioned, to avoid it as much as possible :-). If all this is too little service, you don't have to book with us. ++Coronavirus, etc.++ In terms of coronavirus, the same rules apply to us as everywhere in the accommodation industry. Now we hope that we have pointed out all the special features and look forward to your booking if our offer suits you. Guest access The house has a small courtyard, where smoking is tolerated :-). The apartment has two balconies, basically smoking is also tolerated there, but with great consideration for the other guests in the house! Other things to note Hello dear interested parties, in advance something on our own: our beautiful earth is important to us. Surely you too. So we strive again and more for sustainability and mindfulness. That's why you can find surprisingly often and completely deliberately second-hand furniture or upcycling objects, as well as old bags in the garbage cans, started soap and no shampoo in hotel cabinets. We also like to repair instead of buying new right away, then it looks repaired. And an older machine may, if it can, continue to work with us a bit, even if it is not state of the art, of course sometimes the electricity consumption can then be counted, we have in mind. Nothing greed, but courage to make decisions :-). And now more information, such as the kitchen equipment, parking and everything about Wi-Fi! Other information: For hygiene reasons, you make your beds with us on arrival, on departure the stripped/used laundry is simply stacked in a corner and the garbage is disposed of in the courtyard. If you want more service, we probably won't be right. Towels and bed linen are included in the price, for longer stays there are new towels after a week, bed linen by arrangement. Kitchen use • We went out of our way to provide plenty of dishes and really think of everything. If something is still missing, please give us a hot tip, the next one will be happy. • Food and dish soap/sponges, first garbage bag, first toilet roll, tea towels: What is there, is welcome to be used. Basic foods such as salt/pepper, sugar or coffee filters, etc., we try to refill as standard from hospitality, but we are happy if you do not derive a claim from this, unfortunately we always cannot make it. • Soap is standard with us, shampoo at most by accident from the guest before it, we do not understand this desire from airbnb to provide shampoo to every guest (possibly still in a hotel shampoo bag) because on the one hand, everyone has "their" favorite shampoo anyway. • We are not a hotel business, i.e. the apartment will not be cleaned during your stay. So you're in charge. Cleaning utensils can be found in the kitchen and in the anteroom, possibly on the balcony, a vacuum cleaner somewhere in the hallway (usually at the top). When leaving, please • We are very happy if you leave the apartment somehow with a last mindful shoulder view at the end, strip beds, put all the laundry in a corner, open windows, heater down. Just like in vacation rentals all over the world and with airbnb anyway. Parking In general, it is not different with us in Freiburg city center (and really right in the middle) than in almost all other larger German cities: parking ban or resident parking. And recently, by the way, the "Green Fleet" (car sharing) directly across the street. You also live with us in the middle of it. This means that you will find parking right outside our front door, but you are unfortunately not allowed to use them (by the way, we also do not :-(), which then means either between 15 and 60 euros or 220 euros for towing or "lucky, free". We would have the following tips and hints: 1. We offer two underground parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, costing 13 euros/day, as long as available. 2. There are plenty of public parking garages around our house, which to our knowledge are usually around 20 euros or more expensive per 24 hours (but we can be fooled, certainly worth a search): on the website of the city of Freiburg, the parking garages P1, P2, P18 and P19 are the next to us. 3. Within walking distance you will find in Rehlingstraße, about 1 km from us "out of town" over the Dreisam, always free parking and can always stop in the world's best ice cream parlor on the way there/from there: Mariotti in Kronenstraße 9! 4. In addition, of course, there is Park and Ride (by tram), but unfortunately we don't know it at all because of course we never do that. It's actually best, you'll be right by train, especially since we live directly at the main train station. Internet • *Actually* we have Wi-Fi on all floors, even included in the price for you, should it not work, feel free to contact us via text message/(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)/email. • By the way, there is a corner in the Café Auszeit around a corner and in the Jos Fritz Cafe around the other corner free Wi-Fi. • For the current occasion, here are some detailed information about internet access (sorry :-(): 1. We expressly point out that we make the internet available free of charge as a courtesy and service orientation, but do not distinguish ourselves as a system technician, but can only remedy faults and repair/replace hardware within the usual scope. If you are existentially dependent on the internet, we advise you to create an internet stick that works independently of our Wi-Fi network, as we cannot/do not guarantee a working internet at all times. We assure you that we strive for quick remediation in case of disruptions, but in individual cases this can also take several days (if we are on vacation). 2. We would like to point out that your third party is not allowed to provide access to the Wi-Fi and may not share the user data. 3. We reserve the right to block access to certain sites or services via the Wi-Fi, such as violent, pornographic, or paid sites. 4. We would like to point out that malware such as viruses, Trojans or worms can get to the device when using the Wi-Fi and you should protect your devices with a current virus protection program. 5. You are responsible for data transmitted via the Wi-Fi as well as paid services or legal transactions used and you will incur any costs. 6. When using the Wi-Fi, you are obliged to comply with the applicable law and may not use or distribute immoral or unlawful content, do not unlawfully reproduce, distribute or make accessible goods protected by copyright, do not send or distribute harassing, libelous or threatening content, and you must not use the Wi-Fi to send mass messages (spam) or for any other form of inadmissible advertising. In addition, you must comply with the applicable youth protection regulations. We hereby indemnify and hold harmless from any and all third-party damages and claims based on unlawful use of the WiFi by you as a guest or a violation of this Agreement. 7.
