This newly refurbished apartment has been completely remodelled but manages to retain all of its period features and charm. From the high ceilings and generous Victorian windows to the original exposed brickwork all combined with concessions for modern living which make any length of stay a pleasure. As with our other apartments great care has gone into choosing the interior fittings and we have made a special effort to ensure that everything you will need for you stay, from bedding to pots and pans to hairdryers and ironing board….are provided for your use. This residence features a communal laundry room, with washing machines and tumble dryers, which although not free are heavily subsidized and you can wash a load from just £2. This particular Studio features a separate kitchen and bathroom so it feels particularly spacious. As you can see in the photos there is the comfort of a leather sofa and the additional convenience of a table and chairs for dining. The flat screen TV is 49'' HD 4K and the picture quality is excellent, it's mounted on a special bracket so as you can see it from where ever you are in the room. Free WiFi is included and the code is made available in the guests welcome book which you can find in the apartment, together with a host of other information which we consider you may find useful. As a general rule I prefer stays of four days or longer but shorter periods are maybe available so please ask if in doubt. No shared spaces. All locks are electronic and will open from the key fob supplied to you so you don't have to carry awkward keys. Other things to note Here some information about our location. Our studios and apartments are located in Croydon, which is in the southern part of Greater London (zone 5). Croydon is a great place to stay, and many people choose to live here and commute into Central London because of the reasonable cost of accommodation and the excellent transportation links. East Croydon station is a major transportation hub and is easily accessible, just a 12-minute walk or 4-minute bus ride away. Although there is no underground connection here, East Croydon Station offers a fast and direct overground link straight into the heart of Central London, which is much faster than using a crowded and hot underground train that stops at all stations. Trains are fast and frequent, running every 7 minutes, and you can reach London Victoria Station in 15 minutes and London Bridge in 20 minutes. A London-wide 24-hour travel card for use on any mode of transport from zone 5 is currently priced at £13.00. We are well served by shops and supermarkets that are just minutes away and there are pubs and restaurants too. We are conveniently located near Gatwick Airport, which is just 15 minutes away by train, with trains running 24/7. Luton Airport is also easily accessible, with a direct train route passing through the capital (and St Pancras Station) to East Croydon Station. The journey time by public transport is around 1.5 hours. Heathrow Airport is in West London, and the journey time by public transport is around 1.5 hours.
