The space Our apartment is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg, in a quiet and small forest settlement, surrounded by nature. If you want to spend your vacation in a quiet atmosphere and have the forest right outside the door, then you have come to the right place! The apartment is located in a very well-kept two-family house on the first floor and is equipped with every comfort that a discerning guest expects. It has a separate entrance. It is sun-drenched, bright, modern, very lovingly and cozily designed. With its 84 square meters, it offers plenty of space for up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms, with a single bed and a sofa bed. Amenities: Our apartment is in a very well-maintained condition. It has a living room with large windows and views of our forest. A cozy couch, an armchair, a fireplace, as well as an LED flat TV with satellite reception, DVD player and a music system with MP3, are of course part of our equipment. In the kitchen there is a dining area, with a beautiful view of the Harz Forest. The kitchen has a stove with induction field, refrigerator with separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave and of course a coffee machine, a Senseo pad machine, toaster, kettle and dishes. The bedroom is very spacious and has a double bed (1.80 m), a large wardrobe and a valet stand. The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, double sink, towel dryer, and wall-mounted toilet. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a single bed (90 cm), an additional sofa bed and a dresser. On request, linen rental is also possible and can be booked. The dish towels and table linen are provided free of charge. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. For our train passengers there is the possibility to be picked up, but unfortunately it is not always possible. The apartment is easily accessible by car and is located in a very quiet part of Bad Harzburg. The house is located in an idyllic natural forest property. Our apartment includes a cozy balcony, which is equipped with comfortable adjustable chairs, a table and a sunshade. The balcony is accessible from the living room and can accommodate 4 people. We shall gladly provide you with an electric grill in summer on request. You don't have to worry about things like salt & pepper, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, soap and toilet paper, we will provide these to you, along with dish towels and table linen, free of charge. In addition to a filter coffee machine, a Senseo pad machine is available for you. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. Towels and bed linens are not included in the price. You can bring them yourself, or book them on request. With the guest contribution/visitor's tax you will receive the Harz holiday ticket "HATIX", with which you can use the regional/city buses and trams in the Harz district free of charge. Shopping facilities can of course be found on site (about 700 m). A bus stop is 200 m away. The national park is right outside the front door, ideal for hikers and cyclists, or to simply have a quiet, relaxing and nature-oriented vacation. Varied leisure activities are offered to our guests in Bad Harzburg, such as guided hikes, including lynx feeding, a brine spa with sauna, a wellness area, the Bad Harzburg treetop path and the tree root path, or simply for swimming and much more. Guided mountain bike tours can be booked directly with us. 24 km away you will find the Wurmberg, which you can climb with a cable car. There are various opportunities to spend a nice and active day there all year round. In summer you can hike there and rest at playgrounds and a petting zoo, mountain bike in the bike park, ride monster scooters and eat and drink comfortably. In winter, artificial snow is supposed to ensure that the ski season on the 971-meter-high Wurmberg in the Upper Harz lasts over 100 days. Torfhaus can be reached in about 15 minutes, where you can hike, mountain bike, or go sledding in winter, on a toboggan lift and floodlit toboggan run. The cost for 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels is a total of €5. For the bed linen we charge a fee of €10 in total (2 people). The linen package is then available to you once for the booked period. If you would like to use the fireplace, we will provide you with unlimited wood for a one-time fee of €5 or €10 (from 5 nights). Fuel brought along may not be taken. Wi-Fi is freely available.
