Chestnut Palace has 4 apartments (A1, A2, A3, A4) in beautiful building built with old Croatian popular stone and they all have their own kitchen, bedroom, wi-fi internet, wardrobe, fridge, TV, heating, air-conditioning, microwave, coffee machine. Chestnut tree was known in China and Japan long before the Roman legions were brought to Europe. Roasted chestnuts were sold on the streets of Rome in the 16th century as a winter sale like today. Marrons are coming from mixing home wild chestnut and sadnica which sailors bring from Japan. Marrons have the best quality and taste and it is a "must try" when you are in Lovran. Lovran also has a famous "Lovranska Marunada" which has found herself in the top 10 list of festivals in the whole world, chosen by the english Guardian newspaper.
