The Chapel at Harewood Farm is a bespoke-built tiny house in a secluded meadow, in a meander of the river Tamar, known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. An ideal peaceful retreat for 2 people. A double bed folds away into the wall, allowing a writing desk to unfold. A wood burner keeps you cosy inside, or spend your evening on the porch by the outdoor fire. A place of privacy and seclusion. Enjoy the gentle sounds of wildlife in the undisturbed wildflower meadow. The space The Chapel is a rare experience in that you will have a meadow all to yourself! We are a one cabin outfit by choice because we have come to realise just how much our guests treasure our secluded offering... and we love just being able to focus on making sure your time with us is special. This is an off grid experience. We supply a battery so you can charge your phone whilst you stay. All lighting is battery powered. We have an indoor-outdoor shower with hot water. And your own private compost loo with a view. There's a wooden outdoor yoga deck nearby. You can be totally self sufficient at the chapel, this year we have extended the accommodation to include a kitchen with most of what you need to cater for yourself including a two ring hob and hot and cold water. We supply a BBQ with local sourced charcoal and there is a little stove out on the porch for evening time atmosphere. Firewood for the Chapel wood burner is Free. We usually have our own organic grown produce available for sale. Order fresh sourdough bread or an arrival meal from us in advance. The meadow is only accessible on foot or by 4x4 vehicle. You may park in our yard and we will take you to the Chapel in our vehicle. Guest access We ask our guests to park in our farm yard and take a 10 minute walk to the Chapel. Its a pleasant scenic walk along a track to the meadow. We will transport your luggage down by 4 x 4 vehicle and collect it all at the end of your stay and return it to your vehicle. You won't need to carry anything. There is no need to bring any sleeping, cooking or camping equipment, everything you need other than your food is available here. Other things to note The Chapel is an ideal for those seeking an 'off grid' experience. It's simple living close to nature. Please be sure to bring good footwear and suitable clothing to enjoy your stay. We try to foresee what you might need and we're always happy to answer questions before and after you book with us. We are pet friendly and well behaved dogs are welcome although the Chapel accommodation is compact so seek advice before you book in with your dog. The chapel is surrounded by meadows where dogs can enjoy a run around. We make a small charge for your dog's stay which you will see when you book. Please bring your pet's bed.
