Zum Kranichsee mountain hut - at the top of the Ore Mountains

The Berghütte is a private holiday home in original nature and exclusive location in the Saxon-Bohemian Ore Mountains at 900 m altitude, directly on the Kammweg, E3 and the Kammloipe. The house has a large common room and is particularly suitable for family or friend meetings (12-16 people). The 5 high-quality and fully equipped apartments (2-4 people) offer retreats for each individual at the same time. Grill, fire pit, outbuilding for sports equipment, sauna starting in 2022. The space All apartments are south-facing with the living rooms. This means a bright, inspiring atmosphere even in "bad" weather. We have placed particular emphasis on the use of natural materials to create a pleasant indoor climate. Ceiling or underfloor heating provide cozy warmth. The apartments are fully equipped: high-quality box-spring beds incl. bed linens, sophisticated bathrooms with shower or shower and tub, including towels, hairdryer, living room with dining table and cozy couch corner, bookshelf, Internet TV, kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, plenty of pots, dishes and glasses. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. In the common room, a large kitchen unit invites you to cook, the table to eat together, play games or just to get together. If you do not want to cook, catering from various providers is possible by reservation. Guest access You can also look forward to a large sun terrace, a spacious outdoor area, a grill and fire pit and a sauna hut (not included in the price, 60 euros per day incl. bathrobes and towels). As it is a wood-burning sauna that takes several hours to reach temperature, use is only possible by reservation when booking. In the annex there is a space for storing/preparing/repairing skis and bicycles. By the way, the access road is always cleared even in the depths of winter (no snow chains required). Other things to note Our mountain hut is not a party location and not a place for sprawling festivities. Please respect that the mountain hut is a non-smoking house. Smoking is only allowed in the outdoor area and in the front building. An important note: The attic apartments have sleeping areas in the attics with steep stairs - these are not suitable for toddlers and older guests. On the first floor there is an apartment, which is also suitable for wheelchair users (in the entrance area of the house, however, there are 3 steps to overcome). The tourist tax levied by the municipality (€1.50 per adult per night) is not included in the Airbnb price. We collect this in cash upon arrival.
